Prasanna's "Tadroopi" is among Kannada's most significant plays. The episodes and characters of this play pose a challenge to the director. This satirical play written during the Emergency against the autocratic system was effective as well as popular. It is rather surprising that how in the last two decades none of the theatre groups have ventured to do this play. Sanchaya theatre group brings Tadhroopi on stage.
