The Workshop:
For the workshop, Victor Wooten will perform, talk, demonstrate various musical ideas/concepts, answer questions etc. A generous amount of time will also be allocated for the musicians in the audience to come up on stage and play with Victor and/or get specific feedback on their music, playing etc.
The Workshop participant also enjoys a free entry for the concert in the evening.
The workshop is open for musicians and music lovers alike.

The Concert:
Victor Wooten and Prasanna are known world wide as major innovators on their respective instruments - bass and guitar. Between them they represent the best of 21st century music that brings in elements of Funk, Hip hop, Carnatic music, Jazz, Blues, Classical music, avant garde and everything else they feed on in a melting pot of contemporary music. With two of the most celebrated virtuoso Indian percussionists S. Karthick on ghatam and Bangalore Amrit on khanjira, the quartet will play exciting, organic music that will feed your mind, body and soul.

Q: What are the workshop and concert timings?
A: Workshop at 1 PM and Concert at 7:30 PM
Q: I am a musician attending the workshop. Will I get to play with Victor Wooten?
May be yes. We will have a good amount of time for musicians to come up and play with Victor and have Victor give his feedback on any specifics you would be interested. However, it is not possible for ALL musicians to come up and play but some of you will.
Q: What gear would you have on stage for any participants to play?
A guitar amp, bass amp, keyboard and keyboard amp, drum kit and microphones for voice and other acoustic instruments.
